well, it's been quite a while since I last wrote. I am sooooo angry at Bell I could scream! I just had my afternoon ruined by someone calling to say I hadn't paid a phone bill since May!! They have inadvertently changed my billing address and are going to check to see why the cheques have not been credited to the proper account. Apparently it's my fault if they change things for some unknown reason!! Grrr!!!! Hopefully it will be resolved - The guy on the phone(third person I talked to) asked if there was anything else he could help me with and when I said"you really don't want to talk to me anymore" and he said no I don't Haha! great customer service...they tried to tell me that my husband had changed the billing address and maybe I had moved from 38 Centre street!! It's enough to make a person cry! the last guy was French Canadian and when I said I had the cancelled cheques to prove the bill had been paid he said"if you cancelled the cheque we won't have the payment!) I'm laughing now at how absurd the whole thing is!oh well... maybe I will play a game of scrabble and I'll feel better.

A crazy day of setting up for a Creative Memories scrapbooking day on Saturday..should be lots of fun! Murray was busy with corn - they lost alot on the road - a door fell off the wagon! Went to Woodstock to buy something for the scrapbooking day and the whole city is in darkness - apparently a transformer fell off a pole! It was a little creepy with the city so black!

It has been another fabulous day!!!! It will spoil us for the winter. I have spent most of the day getting ready for my super scrapbooking day at the museum on Saturday. I have lots of great deals and new products to show everyone! It always gets people inspired to get more done. The cleaning lady got all the windows in the house cleaned today so the sun is really shining in!

Another fabulous fall day - 22 degrees and sunny all day! Lisa and I went to quilting today and then went to Greenwood Quiltery and spent some money on wonderful fabric and visited with Sarah. We took Sarah out for dinner to With the Grain - Yummy! Lisa and I then went to see wee Isaac- sooooo cute and cuddly! Lisa got a chance to love him up! He is really alert and looks all around. I can hardly wait for my Mom to see him...Teresa and Ali (the new parents) seem to have adjusted beautifully to parenthood. The other BIG news is that Olive and Howard have finally arrived home from Australia! They had a wonderful time.. Olive brought me some wonderful Australian fat quarters to add to my stash! I bought fabric at Greenwood to go with some of the fabric so I can make some Christmas presents with them. The fabric is aboriginal and very unique. It is going to be fun to work with.

Thanks to Sarah for being the first person to visit my blog! I just called my friend Andrea Post from Winnipeg this afternoon to tell her about Teresa and Ali's new baby Isaac. She was shocked to hear from me and we had a great catch up chat about our families. Andrea was kind enough to have Teresa stay at her home during the summer she worked at the Chalk River lab in Piniwa, Manitoba. They broke a 115 year temperature record yesterday in Winnipeg with a high of 18C. They expect to have snow tomorrow though- so much for a good thing! We are expecting Howard and Olive home this evening after almost 7 weeks away in Australia! We are looking forward to seeing them!

I thought it might be fun to start a blog - if my newborn grandson Isaac can have one I think I should too! I may never have any interest in this but it will be fun. I am going to use this sight as a diary of the happenings of the Cornwell family. My profile picture was taken last summer as a present of a family portrait for my 50th birthday - a truly wonderful gift! My extra special super smoochie husband Murray is also in the photo. My family is expanding by leaps and bounds with the addition of a new grandson on October 23 - the same day as my Aunt Pauline's 90th birthday! It was also my cousin Rona's 50th birthday - a most memorable day in 2008.
